Having cash and using cash are different beasts with different challenges.

If there is one thing everyone thinks they need more of, it's cash. We are never satisfied with what we have, and we think more in the hand is always better. But having cash and spending cash pose two different limitations.

The benefits of having cash

Having cash - actual money in your hand at the moments you need it - is a very good thing.

it relaxes the pressures of everyday life and incites an overall comity in ourselves and our surroundings
and it enables us to meet our financial wants head on, on the moment and on demand.

Physical money is a great thing to have for the purchases we buy and the places we go, but having cash is not the same thing as having wealth, and in the end its really wealth that we need.

Spending cash and fighting off Kong

Wealth it turns out is much better than cash because for the things that matter - bills, car payments, rent, mortgages, etc. etc. - cash is obsolete. You cannot use cash for most large purchases but realistically that is never enough. Cash is just a physical representation of your wealth, a signal of your financial strength and dependability. Spending cash is a sign of financial weakness, and an invitation for disaster at the hands of your Cash Kong!
